One new thing we are going to try this year is to feature unique seniors on our blog to encourage others to have fun during their session. We may even start contests for most unique senior portrait during the summer… with prizes! So stay tuned!
It’s pretty awesome when we get a High School Senior that wants to incorporate their hobbies in their session. We wish more would do so. Laura came in during the summer for the first part of her session. She loves to snowboard and obviously there is no snow during the summer so we had her come back in the winter. And here she is…

We have tons of new ideas for 2010 and one of them is the FotoStation! The FotoStation is a portable studio setup that we’ll be using this year to take to receptions as a photo booth for guests to have their photo taken with friends. Since Jenn & Jerry are having the FotoStation at their wedding reception in May, they decided to do a mini engagement session with the FotoStation theme. I was super excited their kids came along. It was just too much fun. Look for yourself!

Natalia turns 1 in a week, and today came in for her birthday portrait. She is my cousin, and traveled from NJ for her shoot. I had this cute idea to put her in a tulle skirt with bright colored necklaces. We included boas, balloons, and tons of funny faces. I got the shots I wanted. Here is one… More photos to follow…

We ended our week with baby shoots… Finally we got Aurora in the studio.  She’s 7 months and all smiles. It was extremely easy to photographer her. Aurora is Frank’s second niece. Here is a sample of the shoot… I’ll post more soon.
